Simran: Care of the Mind/ Care of the Soul
Here we are looking at black ink upon a white page, abstracting ideas, with wandering minds and possibly some awareness of our bodies sitting and breathing—from our perspective we exist. We read, we have sensations, pains, hopes, fears, memory, things to do and our own constructed world around us that we interact with in numerous ways.
This is a dream in which we are convinced that we are the face in the mirror. This is an illusion that we are so immersed in we can’t perceive it. But fortunately, some souls begin to question the nature of their existence in this world. Through the grace of the Creator some souls begin to see a few cracks in the mirror of illusion. Each of us has experiences that show us something about our life that is not ‘real’, and we begin to think that possibly we are not what we thought we were.
