The Elephant in Your Hut-Pamphlet
The Dharma presented in this pamphlet was taken almost entirely from a Satsang given by Sri Bhagwan Ra Afrika on February 5, 2012, and is the first glimpse into what will become a full-length book at some point. Since the audience for this material will consist of readers of different persuasions and ages, some on the spiritual path, others not; and many of whom have had no or limited exposure to either the Sanskrit language or the works mentioned, we have included a lengthy quote below from one of several interpretations of the Ashtavakra Samhita, or Ashtavakra Gita, which is discussed briefly. This profound book sums up what Sri Bhagwan Ra continually points out on the following pages: We are not the doer, nor are we the body/mind; we are Consciousness itself; we must break our attachment to our desires, as well as our likes and dislikes, in order to be happy and free of bondage to the senses; and our ignorance prevents us from doing so.
